    Enhanced customer-responsiveness thanks to globalised service support

    Once a machine or line has gone into operation at the client’s facility, Krones’ involvement is by no means over. We aim to offer our clients not only maximised quality, but also second-to-none service support for the line’s entire useful lifetime. The internationalisation of our service business is therefore gaining steadily in importance, not least our Lifecycle Service operations (LCS). To enhance close-proximity customer-responsiveness, Krones has set up Centers all around the globe. For even faster top-quality service support, more than 5,300 highly qualified service staff are deployed all over the world.
    Our decentralised strategy also includes producing more and more of our spares and change parts in the Centers and offering them to our clients directly from the centers and subsidiaries involved.

    Meeting our clients’ wishes to their maximised satisfaction – this is the goal we focus on day in, day out. Continual research and development are vital for creating efficient, leading-edge production systems and services. At Krones, almost 2,000 staff are working on new products and design enhancements, as well as optimising our existing products, so as to upgrade our clients’ benefits still further and thus provide “Added Value”.

    enviro is the name of the system which we use to manage the sustainability of our products. The enviro seal on one of our machines indicates that the machine complies with what are currently the most stringent energy and media efficiency standards. enviro enables us to achieve two key goals. Firstly, we ensure the long-term environmental compatibility and sustainability of our products.     Shared responsibility – high standards for our vendors

    Clients expect quality – which is why Krones also insists on stringent requirements for its vendors and their deadline compliance. We see the key to our success in long-standing, fair relationships with our business associates, and prioritise experience and trust. We purchase raw materials, products and services from vendors in around 60 different countries. We expect them to model their behaviour on the values of our corporate ethics. All orders placed with our vendors and service providers are based on the stipulations of our Vendors’ Code. This covers issues like health and safety, the environment, quality, human rights, staff standards and anti-corruption, and ensures that our sustainability criteria are also met by our suppliers. In order to monitor compliance with the guidelines, our quality management people conduct audits on the spot.

    Quality policy

    Quality has a long tradition at Krones. As the market leader for beverage and packaging technology, we feel an obligation to always provide our customers with the latest technology and the highest quality. Our company success is based on including our entire staff in the quality management system.

    In order to work together on this management, we are continuously improving our products and processes and we are co-operating with our customers and suppliers to provide an even better delivery and performance capability. Quality also comprises the responsibility for environmental protection, an efficient use of resources as well as the compliance with occupational safety and health standards.

    In this connection, Krones undertakes to comply with the regulations and laws recognising risks regarding the quality, the work and the environment at an early stage. For this purpose, it is most important that measurable processes are assured and also that all managers will clearly observe and secure their responsibility for providing this directive to everybody so it can be applied in each field respectively.

    Of course, the top goal of Krones is satisfied customers. In order to achieve exactly this goal, every employee must always keep his personal task and its significance to the customer in mind. Best quality is both a claim and a commitment.
